Greek meat pie (Греческий пирог с мясом)
Prerequisites
- gas stove (газовая плита)
- frying pan (сковорода)
- baking tray (противень)
- baking parchment paper (пергаментная бумага для выпечки)
Ingredients
- minced beef/pork, 500 g
- puff pastry without yeast, 500 g
- bulb onions, 2 pieces
- feta cheese, 150 g
- spring onion, 6 stalks
- dill (укроп), 4 stalks
- parsley (петрушка), 4 stalks
- eggs, 3 pieces
- refined sunflower oil
Instruction
- Fry minced beef/pork in sunflower oil in a frying pan for 10 minutes.
- Finely chop bulb onions and fry in sunflower oil in a frying pan until golden.
- Finely chop feta cheese, spring onion, dill and parsley.
- Mix minced beef/pork, bulb onions, feta cheese, spring onion, dill, parsley and eggs.
- Divide the puff pastry into 2 parts and roll out into thin sheets.
- Cover the surface of a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Place a sheet of pastry in a baking tray, lay out the filling, cover it with a second sheet of pastry.
- Brush the pie with egg yolk.
- Make small holes in the top of the pie.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
